Where is the summer going?
So much to do and not enough time sure is my mantra these days. I always have big ideas of all the things I want to do/get done during the summer, but between the demands of a toddler and the transition of a new job...I want a do-over!!
Regardless, we still have found time for some fun!!
We spent a week in a beach house on the central coast of Oregon with Lance's parents! First time we've had plans for a "relaxing" vacation! We went with no planned agenda, just a few ideas of some things we wanted to do and see!

Could it FINALLY be SPRING????????????
The calendar seems to have lying to me as of late (come on, 6 inches of snow for Spring Break). The sun is out....amazing what it does for me! I always love this time of year! Always a new beginning! Always something to look forward to! Spring fever has a hold on me!

My parents are in California for Spring Break, so we had to start the festivities a few days early!!
Garrett joined in the adventure and the big kids were a bit confused when all they found were empty plastic eggs!!! HAHA!! Grandma saved the day when she gave out $$$ prizes for each different colored egg!! (Can't go wrong with cash!!)
I have to admit I was a bit bummed out this year....my work rotation has landed me working quite a few holidays this year...including Easter. The kids wanted to get up at 7 am before I left for work...such good sports!!!
Must have been a bit too early for Garrett!!!

We never know quite what to expect for a holiday at the Atwood's. This one sure was full of surprises. After the kiddie egg hunt and dinner we were informed we were participating in the Amazing Race...I mean Easter Egg Hunt!! Each couple was given a choice of a challenge (we chose counting jelly beans) and had to meet "Papa Boris" at the park for our "road block challenge" which we had to decipher for the prize!! Due to the competitiveness between us big kids, prizes were awarded to all! Long day, but it sure was fun!!!

Kelsie was baptized today!
What a special experience for Lance to be able to baptize her! Kelsie was so excited she could hardly sit in her seat during the talks. Her "little" testimony amazes me each time she expresses her love for Christ and what the gospel means to her! She really has such a spiritual influence on our family! Kelsie-girl! I am so proud of you!!!!
